Sarah dreamed of joining the helping profession since she was a young girl. Her passion to offer therapy services to individuals with eating disorders stems from her own experience with, and healing from, an eating disorder. She is a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and has a passion for serving those in the community.
Outside of her work as a therapist, Sarah practices yin and restorative yoga and goes on the occasional run. Her love of running shoes greatly outweighs her love of running. Sarah also enjoys spending time with and spoiling her fur children. She is a passionate cat mom who will never pass up an opportunity to take a cat nap.
Areas of expertise
Restrictive eating disorders: Explore your sense of self beyond your eating disorder, and learn coping strategies to manage and reduce the effect your eating disorder holds
Self exploration and attunement: Engage in understanding and exploring your sense of self and how you navigate the world
Neurodivergence: Develop strategies to help you reach your milestones, and embrace your uniqueness
Therapeutic Approach
Sarah uses an eclectic approach to help clients address and process concerns, and step into their sense of self. Sarah draws from somatic theories, DBT, and ACT.
